Research Focus: To evaluate the effect of liming ratio on zeta potential using an acoustic & electroacoustic spectrometer.  This information will be used to determine the feasibility of designing a free lime monitoring system to be used in the causticizing plant to improve process efficiency and reduce overliming problems.
