Teaching

To encourage and support postgraduate student research and teaching in pulp and paper science and engineering.

To strengthen the role of pulp and paper science and engineering in the undergraduate curriculum.

Information Transfer

To enhance dissemination and application of university research results related to pulp and paper manufacture.

To facilitate collaboration with international pulp and paper research organizations and to bring outstanding scientists and engineers from the international pulp and paper community to the University to contribute to the activities of the Centre.

To raise awareness in the University and in the community of the importance of pulp and paper science, technology and research.

To maintain and strengthen the information resources of the University related to the pulp and paper industry including the campus libraries and the Centre’s reading room material.
